La FIFA a désigné Facundo Tello, arbitre argentin de 44 ans, pour diriger le quart de finale de la Coupe du monde entre la France et le Maroc ce jeudi.
Une décision qui risque déjà de faire parler.
Pourquoi ? Parce que quelques jours plus tôt, de nombreux supporters argentins avaient critiqué la désignation de l'arbitre français François Letexier pour arbitrer leur match contre l'Égypte.
Facundo Tello n'est pas un inconnu. Il compte plus de 430 matchs à son actif depuis 2012, a déjà arbitré plusieurs rencontres de Coupe du monde et possède une solide expérience internationale.
Ce sera toutefois la première fois qu'il arbitrera l'équipe de France.
