He chaired UK Local Authorities Against Apartheid from 1984 to 1994 and led groundbreaking work on the boycott of South Africa, captured recently in an oral history project with @ChrisFevre @UFSweb

He also spoke at some anti-apartheid events. He featured quite a lot in the research we did. Perhaps we will need to revisit it...
