There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️
In the 80s and 90s the media was full of Liverpool legends and the agenda was Fergie failing (remember Fergie ‘OBE’ - Out By Easter and Flashy Foreigner from Emlyn Hughes)
Then when Liverpool were rubbish and United were dominant it was about trying to undermine how good United were (You’ll never win anything with kids!)
Now United are not very good and the media landscape now has United legends on where they are given one topic - United
Liverpool legends are still dominant in the media and they have one topic - United
It’s always pressure on the United manager, a United player whose ‘game has left him’, a Liverpool or City player who is the best ever, always compared favourably against a United team, usually the treble team, who apparently had the worst team and worst individuals but always seem to be the yardstick
Funny old game
