@OliverJia1014 I’ve been continually shocked at the small-time Zoomer resurgence of the cassette. Vinyls I can understand and CDs and the iPod make a ton of sense, but “finicky format with poor sound” really does hit the nail on the head.
@mayonakamahoo It’s moderately understandable - 33-38 and high humidity for several months has been normal in my regions for decades. Air conditioning is everywhere in every space.
Still, businesses are one of the places you expect to find AC more often in places where it’s less common!
@mayonakamahoo It is 35 most days here and I am lucky enough to have a gym in my home with a treadmill and large weight rack. I would not dream of exercising in it without the AC on and even then I prefer having a fan running, too!
A promotion wanted me to change my name for a show cos there was another Alexis booked.
Suggested names didn’t sit right with me. Suzie Saigon/Kim Katana.
I’m proud to be Chinese.
This felt disrespectful.
Anyways, I dodged a bullet by not working with them…

@mayonakamahoo At 2L of just water (in addition to morning coffee and so on), I’m basically in the bathroom every 45 minutes! And I’m a bigger person than average. I cannot imagine doing twice that!
@wingfieldazy For sure! By August it’s usually 38 or 39 and very humid everyday in my hometown, but traveling by car is extremely common. No way I want to try getting around Tokyo by bus and train in even 33!
