Rep George Santos has been charged with fraud, money laundering, theft of public funds, and false statements, according to documents from the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York

Two sources familiar with the matter tell NBC News that Congressman George Santos has been charged by the Justice Department.  They offered no further details.  No documents have been made public as yet.
