Allison, this is a murder case. The alleged perpetrator is still at large. You are not involved in the investigation. You are not a police officer. You do not have any of the relevant facts. Let the police do their job.
Dermot Murnaghan. Peerless broadcaster - the twinkle in the eye, the intelligence, the likeability.
But more than anything; he urged you to get checked.

@MILERHS@IainDale@LBC@JeremyVineOn5 Wholeheartedly agree. Learned so much about Ann Widdecombe and the story about her traveling the country to support Iain as a candidate says everything you need to know about her character.
Hillarious from @Artemisfornow if not about ego then why didn’t Farage wait for the investigation to report so the voters of Clacton knew if he broke the rules or not? Why waste £250k on a by-election when another one is likely coming again ??
@Artemisfornow@LottieCain66@RestoreBritain Bernie. Farage is a privately educated multi-millionaire with multiple jobs. His life style has been funded by a crypto donor and a convicted criminal.
He and Refrom are the establishment.
@Artemisfornow He said they were stolen in a terrorist attack. Your comment is frankly absurd and partisan. Most people would be pleased that he has recognized the anniversary of this dreadful day.
OK, for those Reform supporters still trying to use Ann Widdecombe's death to block legitimate scrutiny of Nigel Farage. I'm going to be writing about him, his finances and Reform sleaze for my column today. And almost certainly next week. And for the foreseeable future.
Watching people on the Left literally celebrating Ann Widdecombe's death. Watching supporters of Reform trying to weaponise it to further deflect from the Farage probe. What's the point. Genuinely. What are we all doing here. What are we actually achieving.
There you go again, attempting to sow doubts about our policing and judiciary. There is no cause to imply or impugn anything at this stage. But you never lose an opportunity do you?
People keep referring to "standards committee of MPs" - eg today's Times. But only 50% of cttee members - 7 out of 14 - are actually MPs. The other 7 are lay members of public. All 14 members get to vote on MPs' behaviour. So plot by political Establishment is a bit diluted.
Blocking people who support targets to reduce carbon emissions wrong on multiple levels. Intolerant - party has always been broad church. Bad politics - out of touch with Conservative voters. And in midst of latest record heatwave on wrong side of history https://t.co/EAYt0oGPNM
You know what. I think Count BinFace has been preparing for this moment from the beginning. People have always asked “why are you doing this?”. Now we know. It’s a plan years in the making. He’s basically an Establishment Sleeper-Bin.
Hi @AshtonWard01 when you owned a headhunting business I highly doubt you would have made statements like this. Did you refuse to take on candidates becuse they were Muslim? Did you refuse to take business from anyone who might be Muslim?
@RupertLowe10@AshtonWard01 There shouldn’t be any Muslims in any British public office as they seem
to only represent their own sectarian communities & religion & clearly forget that their constituencies sit on English/Welsh & Scottish soil. Not Pakistani etc. soil.
@DrChrisParry@AshtonWard01 This is ridiculous.
It is perfectly possible to be appalled at the actions of Hamas and also call out the Israeli government for barbaric actions forcing people to move at short notice and killing many innocent civilians and children. Even former Israeli soliders agree.
