Not so fast; this is the truth :
1. Anti-immigration + “immigrant wife”
Sarah Bossard was born in Sri Lanka and adopted as an infant by Swiss parents. She is Swiss. That is not the same as today’s mass/illegal asylum inflows. Weidel’s target is uncontrolled migration and failed integration, not a baby adopted into Switzerland in 1982.
2. Anti-LGBTQ+ + lesbian
She is a lesbian in a long-term civil partnership. She is not anti-gay. She rejects queer ideology, gender theory, and school LGBT pedagogy. She supports equal legal treatment for same-sex partnerships, not redefining marriage. She has said she joined AfD because she is gay: mass immigration made streets less safe for homosexuals.
3. Opposes LGBT adoption + adopted two kids
The boys are Sarah’s biological sons (known fathers). Weidel adopted them. AfD still treats “father + mother + children” as the public ideal. Weidel’s own line is “family is where children are.” That’s a party tension, not her secretly banning the family she lives in.
4. German nationalist + lives in Switzerland
The family is in Einsiedeln because of threats and bullying of their son (“Scheiß-Nazi”). She works in Berlin and keeps her official residence in Germany. That’s security, not her quitting the country.
The post collapses four different distinctions into one hypocrisy meme. The biography is real. The punchline meaning is not correct info— it’s very misleading.
