@Riley_Gates The D. Scott stuff has baffled me. That's literally his job, to celebrate all things K-State through storytelling. And he's brilliant at it. Uhhhh, you think the stats the athletic department puts out favor the athletic department?!
Anyways. You rule @DScottFritchen
Seemingly impossible to follow a guy with his statue already out front, but Chris Klieman poured so much into K-State and made his own mark in Manhattan.
I know the shoes that I had to fill. Coach, you are a legend and an icon...I am so excited to continue on in your legacy and I am going to make you proud."
A cool moment from Chris Klieman's introduction today, he made sure to pay respect to Bill Snyder. #KStateFB
Sources have told The Mercury that Chris Klieman’s retirement is set to be announced sometime this week. Collin Klein has been lined up to replace him.

Dak Prescott said he can sympathize with fans who are frustrated about this recent Jerry Jones quote to the @WSJ:
“There’s $100 billion present value with (natural) gas out there. That’s why I’m talking to you on the telephone rather than trying to fix our defense with the Dallas Cowboys.”
Dak: “I don’t know the full context of it. I do know a piece of it. But being a fan and you just hear that or read that, yeah, of course. … That can definitely be frustrating.
“But in that sense, I would just say, the guy has never really lied about who he is or what he’s trying to do. Hopefully he was talking about in that one particular moment. Maybe in those five minutes is what he was alluding to, and having a chance at a $100 billion opportunity I think you might take five minutes as well to answer a call. Hopefully that’s what he means, right? But I could see how it could be frustrating.
“For us as players, we control what we can control. That doesn’t pertain to us right now. Our job is to make sure that we’re getting ready for Monday night and that we’re gonna be the best team we can be when we go play the Cardinals.”
After so many summers together, the @AfterShocksTBT are finally getting their chance to play for the $1 million prize and @thetournament championship.
TBT championship 3 pm @ Koch Arena on Sunday.
I’m honored to receive the Meritorious Service Award from the Illinois State Board of Education’s Those Who Excel Awards! Grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to do what I love every day.
