@dgoold Hi Derrick listening to the latest BPIB and the single / got me thinking. A single is worth more than a walk. The most total bases on a walk is 4 (4×1 base 1 run) on a single it's 7 (1 +1 + 2 + 3 with 3 runs). The downside walk = no outs, ball in play could equal 3 outs.
