Can you be a little more clear on wealth? To live out your remaining years comfortably it takes over $1mil should the Lord bless you with that time. If they’re selling everything to do as they want. That would suggest there isn’t exponential wealth. Or even some excess worth passing on. Now every situation is different and some parents with excess that do not share, I would consider selfish. But if this situation is a middle class family that gave their kids the life and opportunities to set themselves up for a good future while scraping and sacrificing their (the parents) wants and desires then the parents have every right to enjoy their remaining yrs together and do as they please.
