This Philosophy professor died recently
And his daughter posted every lecture he ever gave during his life on YouTube
From his 20s to 60s, documented. His last videos are literally in a hospital, in his deathbed, still talking about Nietzsche
And I find it beautiful how he dedicated his entire life to transmitting the best possible teachings, to now becoming immortalized and forever consumed, prolonging his life mission as more and more people discover him
Absolutely legendary way to both die and live imo
Had to share it rq
@TheBolivianYank Keep Poch. Having the same Coach for 1 cycle is crucial for the national team. The National coach doesn't have the same time as Coachs in clubs do to work with the players. Now will Poch stay? I doubt it. Poch will go back to Europe.
Our entire society is held up by what I call male surplus labor. It’s the extra work men do to provide for their families.
This surplus labor is the extra time, energy, and innovation men invest to improve not only their own socioeconomic conditions, but society as a whole.
The reason is to simply provide a better life and future for their families. So what happens if men can’t have families?
You lose this surplus labor, and most men stop finding a reason to innovate and improve society. And why should they?
If they don’t have children, then they have no stake in the future. “So who cares if society is headed towards a dystopia? No wife and kids = not my issue. And if it is, then oh well. I’ll fend for myself. I don’t need much anyway.”
Capitalism thrives on innovation, and when you lose that much male brainpower, society stops improving and eventually collapses.
When you lose families, you also lose the soul of a nation, because that’s where the spirit to endure and prevail comes from.
This is why the birth rate crisis is an absolute disaster, and I’m tired of normies acting like it’s some trivial issue.
