This isn't just better if you don't like the vibe - it's just more effective: the iPad enables all this stuff—brings it to life, not that this stuff is smashed in and obsolete.
Reversing feels much more "bicycle for the mind" vibe.
What is described in this tweet not only didn’t happen, but it is biophysically impossible for cancer cells to go through their cycles fast enough to divide enough times for a tumor to appear in 2 years.
The tweeter made ALL that sh*t up.
@minakimes Quality of play in first game of season (penalties, scoring, wins, etc.) compared to number of snaps by starters in preseason (particularly quarterbacks, natch). Is the play sloppier in initial games the fewer snaps taken in preseason? Is there any correlation?
We, generally/historically, have been apathetic to elections outside of president, ignoring congress, state legislature, city council, school boards, etc. But that apathy has allowed Christian Nationalists' "local" strategy to work. Start with smallest community and aggregate up.
@leeloowrites@joenatoli So yes, this can easily apply to same a sex couple holding hands in public. Christian nationalists don't want their kids exposed to LGBTQ+ content, then why would they want them exposed the LGBTQ+ people? Suppressing any and all of it is the logical endgame for these fuckers.
My kid is dressing up as a shark this year for Halloween. I told them I’ll give them extra candy anytime they knock and say “candy-gram” instead of trick or treat.

There is just no joy in Ashoka. Everyone is self serious and dour.
Andor wasn’t swashbuckling, but you didn’t get the impression everyone was clinically depressed.
My kid didn’t understand my giddiness when we’re watching one of their animated shows (Dragon Prince) and i see a beat for beat reference to Twin Peaks red room. Very random but was oddly appropriate.
Question. When I say the word “folksonomy” do your a) recognise it and know what it means and b) see this concept still being used and referred to in the wild?
@strategy_chris @astr0mnaut Yeah, I think it helped to know _who_ the are. But I don’t remember any plots from when I watched.
My wife, who hasn’t watched any stuff was annoyed for the first 15 min with some show/character references. But was fine once there was some expository dialog.
Re: Ahsoka, I liked the vibe and aesthetic, and am cool with the plot, but just felt something was off on the pacing/editing of the first two episodes. Seemed uneven, with scenes that had odd or slow pacing and dialog that didn't flow.
