@MrDonPc@OurFavOnlineDoc Well, it's not paternity leave, it's still on compassionate basis.
Paternity leave in most places is a statutory right or privilege you have, as a man, to care for your baby AFTER your wife has given birth, not BEFORE.
This little boy, Godwin Chijindu Ikeobi, a JSS1 student of Government College, Owerri, surprised me today.
Today he won first place in the Junior Category at the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN) Imo State Chapter Olympiad exam.
He failed to qualify for the final round from Imo State for the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad and has been crying and depressed.
He attends a government school and felt he was disadvantaged. He was one of the reasons I deployed learning content for all participants in the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad for education equality.
He took the lessons seriously and has been studying them on his own daily. Today he has proven that your background cannot limit you if you are determined to succeed.
He beat all the private and public schools in Imo State today to attain that position.
What a star!
My father, Comrade ABC Ubani JP took pictures with several governors of Anambra State including the present governor of the State, but in our family sitting room we only have enlarged pictures he took with Peter Obi, while he served as the governor of Anambra State.
I once asked him, what Peter Obi has done for him that made him practically decorate our sitting room with his pictures.
He first said, that I should snap a picture with a governor first beyond asking him that question.
He went further to say, that before Obi became governor, they (Anambra civil servants) saw hell with respect to worker's welfare, payment of pensions and gratuities. Both my parents were state civil servants, now pensioners.
My father has been a Labour union leader since 1994, so he understood the government-workers faceoff, before Peter Obi practically made life easier for workers in the state.
When he, my father who is now 74 years old retired to the village a few years ago, his portraits with Peter Obi was one of the things he took with him. He moved them from our family house in Awka to our family house in Enugwu-Ukwu, where he is now spending his last days while still serving as the State Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners, Anambra State, which makes him the longest serving union leader in Anambra state today.
The Comrade as I call him is a prolific writer who wrote so many bulletins against former State govenors of Anambra. When I was much younger he was arrested a few times for some of his controversial releases against governors of the State. I remember my mother, Mrs Rose Ubani searching for days to find where he and his colleagues were being held.
When Peter Obi was first removed from office, which should be around 2007 or 2008, I was about 16 years old. But I remember like it was yesterday my mother calling for us to fast and pray as a family for him to be reinstated, and we did fast - our welfare as a family dependend on that. Graciously, Obi made a comeback. Two comebacks, to the glory of God.
Therefore when you see me defending Peter Obi on this space, it is not for nothing. It is a burden I must discharge in appreciating a man who made the difference in the governance of Anambra State.
No Peter Obi slander will see the light of the day, once I'm here, and I will be here for a very long time!
When I criticise the current governor of Anambra state, is not out of hate, but for the love of Anambra. I criticised his predecessor and I know what it cost me. I do not mind paying a costlier price today.
My loyalty is not to any governor, but to my State, Anambra.
My name is Kingsley Ubani , and I'm just getting started.
A few months ago, Don Anele Marvelous Munachimso from Diamond Special College, Owerri, emerged as the winner of the Senior Category of the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad.
Today, we’re celebrating even more incredible news.
Don scored 98 in IGCSE Chemistry which is the highest score in Nigeria. He also earned 6 A*s in the Cambridge IGCSE examinations and has secured a $100,000 university scholarship in Canada.
In just 12 days, we’ll be heading to Rome together to for International STEM Olympiad and compete for gold.
Watching young people like this grow and achieve great things reminds me why we started this journey in the first place.
Congratulations, Don. The future is bright, and we’re all rooting for you. ❤️
Peter Obi became Chairman of Fidelity Bank in 1996 at 34, emerging as the Youngest Chairman to ever head a Bank in Nigeria’s History.
He led the Bank from a Merchant Bank into a 33B Top commercial Bank by 2001.
45 Year olds “Data boys” are on X questioning him.
Omo 🤦🏾♂️
When the government wants to work, it will work
A government that can build this in 24 months can also build a 1004 complex of one and two-room apartments in Abuja, and destroy the high cost of rent and win elections
The same way the government used solar to power itself out of darkness, but left you in band A
Notice how corruption did not affect these projects
You, who are writing a draft to attack this post, tell me what the government has done for you personally
@Uno_009 You're not wrong. I recall Ekweremadu and some other SE politicians saying they wouldn’t support Obi when he was chosen as Atiku’s running mate in the 2019 presidential election, because they weren't consulted beforehand.
As a Nigerian, I find it absurd that since 2022, Peter Obi has been the only major front-runner relentlessly grilled, constantly interviewed, and forced to engage the public at every turn. Meanwhile, Atiku and Tinubu seem to glide by without facing anything close to the same scrutiny. What exactly is going on here? Do they believe they are too important to be questioned, or are their supporters simply more comfortable shielding them from accountability and public scrutiny?
Nobody hears from the president, who sits on high Mount Olympus and only graces Nigerians with carefully scripted appearances and distant press statements from Bayo Onanuga, as though leadership is a privilege to be admired from afar rather than a responsibility to be constantly examined. Atiku is no different, equally distant, equally insulated, and just as unwilling to submit himself to the kind of sustained, unscripted engagement that true leadership demands.
My Prime Minister, Carney, faces the press almost daily and endures relentless grilling from the opposition in Parliament on virtually every issue. That is what accountability looks like in a functioning democracy.
Tinubu, on the other hand, answers to no one.

Every few months I have to come out and ‘defend’ my name on the internet. Crazy that I never had to defend my result though.
Anyway, my dad is from Delta, and my mum is from Ogun state.
So I’m entitled to the name. It had nothing to do with my result though. 😏
Till next time.
Sadly, I have witnessed this on several occasions. Sometimes, when I see a family together even in the Church, I can immediately tell who the nanny, maid, or househelp is simply by the way the person is dressed - often shabby, worn-out, or neglected, while the children of the family are beautifully and neatly dressed.
This should trouble our conscience. A person who helps care for your home and children also deserves dignity, respect, and decent treatment. Human worth must never be measured by social status or economic class. Human dignity should never be selective.
Akpakomiza is attacking one man.
Dave Umahi is attacking one man.
Julius Abure is attacking one man.
Bayo Onanuga is attacking one man.
Kenneth Okonkwo is attacking one man.
Adams Oshiomhole is attacking one man.
The entire Establishment is attacking one man.
Wike is promising Rivers votes.
Adeleke is promising Osun votes.
Okpebholo is promising Edo votes.
Soludo is promising Anambra votes.
Akpabio is promising Akwa Ibom votes.
Dave Umahi is promising Ebonyi votes.
Dapo Abiodun is promising Ogun votes.
Sheriff Oborevwori is promising Delta votes.
32 governors are promising Heaven & earth.
They renew the promise every market day. It must be wonderful to walk in his shoes.
Our man is on everyone’s lips. You will think he snatched their wives. Do you know what it takes for one man to put Aso Rock & the entire Establishment under constant pressure?
To the point of forcing grown men to renew their pledges on camera every market day?!
He is not your mate jor. If e easy, try am! 💪💪
I just woke up now and reflected on the campaign against @PeterObi by @officialABAT's camp, @atiku's camp, @sowore's camp etc.
The level of the campaign is so intense, intentional and deliberate that the most daft person will figure that it is funded.
You will think that Peter Obi is the current President of Nigeria
What is PO's offence ?
Good morning Everyone, have a wonderful Sunday and God bless YOU and YOURS, Amen 🙏
Good news: Uchegbu Kosischukwu won the gold medal in the senior category at the German Mathematics Olympiad in Frankfurt, Germany.
