"I only want to have fun tonight."

Jake Luppen got his wish in an unforgettable hometown show by his band Hippo Campus last night at the Turf Club.

“I normally sweat this much even when I don’t have a brain tumor.”

Bad joke by Jake Luppen during a really really great pre-surgery send-off gig by his band @thehalocline at @TurfClubMN.

Pumpkin beers aren’t trendy. Here’s where to get some variations on the brew style that has been around since colonial times.

That’s quite a pretty stage for a trek named The Rats in a Cage Tour.

Standouts at @mncraftbrew's Autumn Brew Review included a blackberry sour ale, coconut rice lager, pineapple/lime seltzer and (gasp!) a pretty regular ol' pilsner.

Kiss Me More, third song in @DojaCat’s set at a pretty electrified Target Center.

Lotta love in the near-full house for @Latto opening for Doja.

As always, We Fest is the first big fest lineup out of the gate, and it looks to be aiming toward a younger audience.

The inaugural season at Mystic Lake Amphitheater wraps Wed night with Bryson Tiller. Most would agree the first year was a smashing success.

As things wind down, though, complaints about noise levels have been amping up. Blame the bassists.

Review of last night's fun & funky albeit short-lived & underattended pairing of Devo & B-52's at Mystic Lake Amphitheater.

Not a lotta love in the Live Shack tonight…

It’s showtime for the B-52s & Devo concert and it looks like the amphitheater crowd might’ve almost fit in the Palace Theatre.

How good was last night’s sold-out Iron Maiden concert at Mystic Lake Amphitheater? You might not believe it.
