Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Not moderately. Not conveniently. With all your might. Development requires intensity, continuity of effort, and the willingness to return again and again to the difficult, unglamorous work of becoming better.
The future is uncertain, but it is not sealed. Amartya Sen’s central argument — that development is fundamentally the expansion of human capabilities, the freedom to become and to do — redirects the whole inquiry. It moves us away from a passive accounting of what we lack, towards an active reckoning with what we might yet build. This future cannot be awaited. It must be constructed, deliberately and together. Development has never been a purely individual project. It is a collective enterprise, one that demands alignment of vision, unity of effort, and a sustained commitment that outlasts the enthusiasm of any single generation.
Ecclesiastes again: "Two are better than one... for if they fall, one will lift his fellow." (4:9). The logic of cooperation is not merely additive. Where genuine solidarity replaces fragmentation, where people build with and for one another rather than in spite of one another, progress accelerates in ways that isolated effort never could.
A future worth inheriting will not arrive by chance. It will be earned through the continuous refinement of skill, the discipline of consistent action, and the courage to grow together across time. As Peter Drucker put it, the best way to predict the future is to create it. That creation begins, as it always has, with the steady and unrelenting development of human capacity, not the capacity to wait but the capacity to build.

He actually didn’t say that.
He said when he met Adesua, he connected with her but he didn’t want to approach her with “dating” first
So he messaged her and he introduced himself properly, and he offered friendship, and Adesua said “Oh ok, I can do friendship if it won’t be more than that”
So he stayed in the friendzone for a while
And when he couldn’t hide how he actually felt anymore, he started talking to her about relationships and Adesua wasn’t feeling it.
He said he tried many times and she wasn’t budging
And he became devastated.
He said God had showed him that Adesua was his person but all his efforts to make Adesua see the light was unfruitful
So he communicated with God to help him talk to Adesua
And one day when he was talking to Adesua, Adesua said “You know now I know you’re my husband”
He even said Adesua was the inspiration behind one of his music MADE FOR YOU
So where did he say Adesua was the one that outrightly asked him out?
If there’s one celebrity husband that will NEVER disrespect his wife, y’all should know it’s BANKY W

I have many memories of Mayflower School. That institution shaped me in many ways. It’s rare to see a school built by sheer grit and will as Mayflower. A school built by community, for the world. Those values shone through for many years, in different people, for various reasons.
I have two favourite things from Mayflower — the morning assembly speech, and football.
As a student, we were primed for public speaking by facing other students, sometimes thousands of them to deliver speeches we prepared. It was training on a very high level.
And with football, we played in front of hundreds of students, determined to win and walk away pridefully and gracefully. Every game was a battle. Every win gave us shoulder pads, and those were sweet, sweet victories.
Should I talk about the academic part? The competition for places? The pride that came with places. I can write for another year on that school and won’t be tired. Those were some of the best years of my life.

I have several memories of my time at Mayflower, the most outstanding memory will be 5F9 conference beating by different teachers on the assembly ground and barbing skin regardless of your gender. The day is always a scary day for people who fail. #Mayflower70thAnniversary
