For months now, as we’ve engaged inmates through open Q&A sessions in correctional facilities, something has become painfully clear:
Many sincere Christians do not actually understand what they believe.
We’ve encountered teachings such as:
• Salvation depending on jewelry or dress
• Only one Bible translation (KJV) being “authorized” usage of every other translation is sin.
• Jesus being born again physically at his second coming.
• Sex is the fruit eaten at the garden in Eden, completely alien to what Scripture says
• Christianity and Islam being interchangeable paths, both serve and lead to the same God, you can be both.
These are not small errors. They shape eternal hope.
In Acts 8, Philip asked,
“Do you understand what you are reading?”
That question has now become our burden.
Next week, we will be holding a 3-day teaching and discipleship program at Kirikiri Medium Correctional Facility, focused on breaking doctrinal strongholds and establishing clear, Christ-centered foundations.
To host this gathering (1,200–1,300 inmates), we need to raise ₦3.6 million to provide feeding and logistics for the final day.
We are not building crowds.
We are building understanding.
If you believe sound doctrine matters, stand with us.
Partner with us. Pray with us. Give towards this mission.
Let’s plant truth where it will multiply.
