@GovNedLamont@DrJuthani@CTDPH And finally…it doesn’t hang together when you and Dr. Juthani say indoor masking is critical right now, but you refuse to institute a state-wide requirement during this wave. This is when we know politics win over doing what’s right.
@GovNedLamont This is good but it’s only part of the equation. An indoor masking requirement is also needed across the state. You know that but are letting politics get in the way. Please do the right thing and help us get over this wave as safely as possible. @DrJuthani@CTDPH
@GovNedLamont@DrJuthani@CTDPH And further…you say you can’t enforce indoor masking…but you also can’t enforce that the masks and home tests you are distributing will be used. Your indoor masking excuse doesn’t really hold up. We need all the proven levers in place during Covid upswings.
@EricTopol What does this mean for the severely immunocompromised who have had 3 doses? Concerning that current monoclonal antibody therapy appears less effective. Hoping our health leaders will be able to have answers for this vulnerable group soon….
@CTDPH The longer we’re in the pandemic, the more confusing & inconsistent the messaging. “Recommendations” lead to inconsistencies in application allowing the virus to permeate and evolve. Disappointed our CT leaders are putting more lives at risk especially the immunocompromised 😕.
@ASlavitt Our leaders don’t talk enough about the immunocompromised. I’m a blood cancer patient & fully vaxxed but chances are likely the vax doesn’t protect me. We do all we can to stay safe but we continue to be isolated and put at risk by those who CHOOSE to unvax.
@ScottGottliebMD Our leaders don’t talk enough about the immunocompromised. I’m a blood cancer patient & fully vaxxed but chances are likely the vax doesn’t protect me. We do all we can to stay safe but we continue to be isolated and put at risk by those who CHOOSE to unvax.
@JoshGeballe@GovNedLamont Time to stop the “pats on the back” for a job well done. CT may be top of the leader board for vaccinations, but we’re now top in positivity rates. We relaxed restrictions too soon and the vulnerable who you did not prioritize are still at risk.
@CTDPH Yes!!! Please keep those of us safe who are IMMUNOCOMPROMISED and the Governor has pushed to the back of the line - the young & SERIOUSLY ill. We need your help. - this 40 year old leukemia patient & mom of 2
@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont @johndankosky Please continue to ask the hard questions to our leaders. The young & SERIOUSLY ill need a voice and our leaders aren’t responding or even acknowledging us. Why aren’t some vaccines allocated to our hospitals/speciality clinics to help us too?
@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont Simple does not = equitable for us when you are young & SERIOUSLY ill. Consider the CDC’s “ARE” at risk list - transplant patients, cystic fibrosis patients, blood cancer patients. Please take care of us too.
@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont We are trying all we can to protect ourselves so we don’t die. Things are opening more in our state which SCARES us because we can’t get the vaccine protection yet and must rely on others to make good choices to keep us safe.
@JoshGeballe @johndankosky @GovNedLamont While you have an explanation that makes sense, a core issue is that the Governor is NOT taking care of the young & SERIOUSLY ill who are VULNERABLE. We aren’t represented in your data because we are too small & we are isolated in our homes except for our required medical care.
@Just_A_Citizen2 @GovNedLamont@JoshGeballe Completely agree, our leaders aren’t getting to the core of the questions - just high level info presented to support their argument - and the media isn’t putting enough pressure on them to really answer the hard questions. Very disappointing.
@JoshGeballe@3esp@WFSBnews@GovNedLamont Please be careful about surveys @WFSBnews@3esp. Those of us < 55 with serious medical conditions are clearly not a significant majority of the population & will never have a chance to move the needle in a “general” population survey. We need a voice too.
@JoshGeballe@3esp@WFSBnews@GovNedLamont How can say you are prioritizing most at risk? You must know this is not true. Perhaps you are prioritizing the majority at risk but you’ve put some of us who are real people with families and are suffering at the back of the line. #HighriskCT
