The price hikes are becoming ridiculous
Premium+ should stick to prem+ benefits
Maybe make “grok+” or something an additional tier for people who want to use deepsearch & think
The difference in price between prem n prem+ is insane & unfair for people who wanna support the platform by paying a higher tier
2 months of premium+ pays for a year of premium with almost similar benefits?
Why would anyone wanna go for prem+?
Not to mention the creator rev share pool is shrinking and creators are making less and less on 𝕏
Tuesday 26 February 1661
(Shrove Tuesday). I left my wife in bed … I to Mrs. Turner’s, who I found busy with Theophila and Joyce making of things ready for fritters, so to Mr. Crew’s and there delivered Cotgrave’s Dictionary to my Lady Jemimah … Back to Mrs. Turner’s, where several friends, all strangers to me but Mr. Armiger, dined. Very merry and the best fritters that ever I eat in my life. After that looked out at window; saw the flinging at cocks. … went to Sir W. Batten to the Dolphin, where Mr. Newborne, &c., were, and there after a quart or two of wine, we home, and I to bed.
Jane Turner (b. Pepys, Pepys' cousin)

Randle Cotgrave

Sir William Batten at The Dolphin (Tower St)
flinging at cocks
This was a Shrove Tuesday pastime in England. It involved young men hurling sticks or stones at a tethered or confined rooster until it died. More than sport, it was a chaotic pre-Lent release, blending ritual and violence.
William Hogarth was an English painter, engraver, pictorial satirist, social critic, editorial cartoonist. He is shown below with his pug. He published the well known “The Four Stages of Cruelty,” a series of four printed engravings (1751).
First stage of cruelty: “Introduces Tom Nero, whose surname may have been inspired by the Roman Emperor of the same name or a contraction of "No hero," the boys in the foreground are throwing at a cock, the action takes place on Shrove Tuesday, the traditional day for cock-shying.” In the 4th print (stage), Nero is found guilty of murder, hanged and his body taken for the ignominious process of public dissection.
