@bronwyn @VerbingNouns YUP! I'm getting a sit/stand IKEA desk bc it goes as low as 22", and then the challenge is to get a desk chair that goes low enough. It makes a world of difference. Now I also have to get low sitting chairs so that students won't tower over me also when sitting!

@bkmacaulay I would imagine you're going to get more [w] after back and round, and [v] after high/front/unrounded. Danish has a great vowel inventory to test the relative importance of height/rounding/backness on /v/ realizations. I need to get my hands on some recordings!!

@bkmacaulay Source: I didn't look hard at Danish specifically, but I did my dissertation on /v/ (hah). It's basically the same everywhere that there isn't a /v/~/w/ contrast.
