Right, like this was EXACTLY what people said they wanted post-Trump. First term Trump was exhausting. People hated it. He botched Covid. He was completely incompetent.

People just wanted normalcy and competent government again. Biden came in and basically got us out of Covid and turned the economy around to where it was the envy of the world.

And despite doing what everyone claimed to want, voters (egged on by a bored/hostile media) found all sorts of relative minutia to hate about it.

"My McNuggets cost $1.50 more. My Doordash order for my family of 5 is now $120; thanks Joe Biden!" And on and on.

And then, the voters (who have the memory of goldfish and were again helped big time by a complicit media) forgot how much they hated Trump 1 and believed all his very obvious bullshit about 'lowering prices on day one' and such.

It's very convenient to blame Joe Biden for not 'vanquishing' Trump but it's also complete bullshit.

In the best case scenario, Trump struck a deal to reopen a Strait that was open before the pointless war he started, with the IRGC demonstrating its control over the Strait and potentially extracting fees plus sanctions relief. Thousands of innocents - including hundreds of children - dead in Lebanon and Iran for no reason. U.S. troops killed and wounded. U.S. embassies and bases in the Middle East badly damaged.
