ppl don't talk enough about how detrimental it is to be passively su1c1dal. like not wanting to kys but not wanting to live life and never having a plan bc the comforting thought that you might die at some point makes you not ever make a plan for the future. who else deals w this
@_JESSrelax This is called Price Gouging, and bc stupid like you don’t trust capitalism this means that it won’t be lobbied to the federal level, and rests in the hands of the state to make it illegal. Though many don’t care bc fuck capitalism am I right?
has anyone else ever gotten to the point where you realize you’ve been so passively suicidal your entire life that you never planned your future and now it’s time to act on your future and you have no fucking idea what to do
I grew up walking on eggshells, recognizing footsteps, tones. How to tell if someone was in a bad mood and to avoid them. I learned to study people at a young age. I'm quiet and observant for a reason. I'll read you like a book before we even speak.
Coming from a martial artist, seeing Gyomei skillfully use such a beefed up kusarigama, with such ease, all while using proper techniques, and being choreographed well, is not only a major flex from Ufotable, but also incredibly satisfying to watch.
I understand your argument, but it’s still a horrible take.
Nothing about this sequence is unreadable, sure its has many impact frames and FX to add intensity, but even without those it’s an incredible attack sequence. The choreography of the movement is not some bs, it’s legit
Mark my words, 15 years from now we will look back on this decade of anime and be baffled at its trend of extremely talented and complex animation that... completely sacrifices and nukes readability.
I think the issue here is that most people don’t know what a kusarigama is, let alone how that weapon behaves or is supposed to move, so when they see it in action they see a bunch of gibberish. Rest assured tho, Gyomei’s movements are legit and well choreographed to proper form
@_MankoMan Nahh it’s not, it is actually an extremely well choreographed attack sequence, and is Ufotable’s flex of their knowledge of proper weapon usage and technique. Each movement you see, although superhuman, is a real technique to use a Kusarigama in real life.
“You college guys are protesting about stuff overseas”
“You can’t afford houses, you can’t get good jobs after college, inflation is out of control”
“Why aren’t you protesting actual things affecting you”
