Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries.
We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!
Here’s the real question: Why don’t you turn on Starlink over Russia so the Ukrainians can take out Russian ballistic missile launchers? One small action and you immediately save children from dying every day. Refusing to do so is like watching your friend die while you hold his EpiPen over him. It’s that simple.

Ukrainians with their kids yesterday
Shamelessness and complete moral bankruptcy of the @NHL and @Capitals on full display.
Watching people who propped up this corrupt disaster of an administration for their own enrichment start to slowly back away with their hands up will be good for short term dunks, but thats not good enough. It should be a reputational nuke from which these people never recover.
Ossoff: How many times through our history have those advancing progress and justice faced setbacks and reversals and adversity? They did not retreat into despair, they summoned determination. They picked up their power and used it.
We have the privilege right now of living in the pivotal battleground state in the country at a pivotal moment in our history. Some people just happen to live at places and in times where what we do matters more.
We have the privilege of this opportunity to make history. To make a difference not just for ourselves, but for future generations and our country.
The Danish delegation playing "Send in the Clowns" as Marco Rubio entered the room and they waited on Trump for the signing ceremony of the Greenland Arctic agreement today was just sheer brilliance. *Chef's kiss*
This is a great time to remind all the folks on here who are University System of Georgia graduates, especially those who attended HBCUs, that the next governor is likely going to have the pick over who succeeds Sonny Perdue as chancellor of the University System of Georgia.
If we elect Keisha Lance Bottoms, we can change the tide of how this board is run and reverse this anti-DEI BS, the blatant attack on professors, and get our pubic HBCUs the funding they need.
This is what's at stake, and this is one of the biggest issues I want to bring to light as the founder of HBCU Pulse and a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University and the University System of Georgia.
Let's do all we can to make sure we get the right outcome here. I know education policy ain't sexy, but HBCU alumni don't really have a choice but to care about stuff like this.
It is shameful that @nytimes@TheAthletic buried the fact that the biggest punishment in NBA history was the result of an investigation by journalist @PabloTorre. And to call it the result of a "podcast episode" is a further slap in the face. He won a Pulitzer for this story and they call it an "episode" instead of, at the outset -- crediting him with exposing this scandal. Really really lame.
It is hard to comprehend that state officials would use $10 million meant for poor children’s healthcare to fund their own political agendas. The scale and depravity of this corruption is stunning, even for Florida politicians.
Anna Paulina Luna, who is facing questions about her own history of corruption, remains silent on this issue. She would rather protect her political friends than stand up for poor children who had their healthcare stolen.
The House Oversight Committee, which Luna is a member of, should immediately launch an investigation into the $10 million Hope Florida scandal.
