The event was vibrant, engaging, and a true reflection of the strong and growing relationship between Canada and Zimbabwe. It also reaffirmed Zimbabwe’s foreign policy of being a friend to all and an enemy to none, fostering cooperation, mutual respect, and shared prosperity between nations.

Outgoing British Ambassador to Zimbabwe Pete Vowles paid a farewell courtesy call on His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa at State House in Harare. Having first arrived in Zimbabwe as a young teacher in rural Mudzi in the early 1990s, the outgoing envoy concludes his three-year tenure, marking the end of his diplomatic service in the country.
