A lot of high school football players n Nebraska don’t understand how important track is to their overall development as an athlete. Especially if you’re a skill position player
Great district tournament yesterday! 4 qualifiers: Austin Engel 113; Logan Stenka 138; Dakota Wolever 150; Hudson Treffer 215! All the boys competed their best and left it all out there. Super proud of all of you!
Derry Trampe, longtime Ord Head Wrestling, Track and Cross Country Coach and current Athletic Director will be retiring at the end of the year.
No one in Coach Trampe’s room was more important than the other. He never lowered the standard, because he believed in everyone that competed in the Ord wrestling program.
Those who you have impacted are better today because of you. Respect, humility, hard work and heart.
Right leg over, left leg under. Stance motion. Heels to butt. Mat ladders. Sprints, sprints and sprints.
NEwrestle literally wouldn’t be what it is today without this man. You are appreciated even decades after we left the school.
Congratulations on retirement coach, you earned it.
