We've reached the point where Britain's political debate is dominated by Count Binface.
Meanwhile, the Government has borrowed £274 billion since taking office.
Maybe it's time we spent less time laughing at the circus and more time asking who's paying for it.
The Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan opposes a colour-blind approach to recruitment. It claims it leads to worse outcomes for ethnic minorities. It even argues equality of opportunity is insufficient. It talks of "fixing systems" that do not benefit ethnic minorities.
Through the Plan, Senedd members are actively discriminating against white people.
Scrap it.
🚨The government seems to be making a habit of burying stuff in the distraction of making Burnham king…
Er … the Home Office has quietly opened a consultation to repurpose your driving licence as a searchable identity file for the state.
Police access to DVLA data is currently mainly for road traffic issues.
The government wants to extend automated access to all crime! …. AND “policing purposes”, including cases where no crime is being investigated.
That could include your name, address, date of birth, photograph, signature, convictions and medical information!!!
MPs will only get a yes or no vote on the final regulations. They can’t amend them and this change to your privacy will not get a separate vote.
Sounds a bit like we’re becoming a police state to me 🚨
Labour wants to FORCE you to invest your pension money into UK projects, even if there is little prospect of a return
It will force pension managers to put your retirement savings into “state approved” categories of investment and call it “patriotic duty”
It isn’t! It’s theft
Brilliant … Burnham does communism!
Andy Burnham’s senior economic adviser wants a taxpayer funded National Food Service of 9,500 government backed restaurants,
funding meals which will cost taxpayers another £101 BILLION a year 🤡
Well done taxpayers… we’ve funded over
£1 BILLION of our money to the quango British International Investment in just 2 years.
While Labour taxes independent education in Britain, forcing schools to close…
Our money has gone into private schools in AFRICA! At the expense of our own children 💣
I'm old enough to remember back in the days when this was another "conspiracy theory" : turns out the real goal of unregulated mass migration of military age men is.. to join the army!
Everyone is looking at AI and thinking about bankers, lawyers and programmers, not much sympathy for them losing their jobs.
You’re looking at it all wrong…. When those people lose their jobs, they stop spending. Even on things like gardeners, DIY and eating out. They stop hiring cleaners, window cleaners and childminders. The knock on effects will be catastrophic!
And then tax receipts will fall, as benefit claims rise, meaning even less money, in an economy already running £3 trillion in debt.
what happens next? not one party has a plan or can tell you where the mythical ‘growth’ to save us all will come from.
There it is…. Net Zero and the redistribution of wealth.
The UN has repeatedly stated that richer industrialised nations should finance poorer countries for climate loss and damage.
Now the International Court of Justice has issued an advisory opinion saying states have legal obligations relating to climate harm.
And the UK Government has endorsed the UN resolution AND welcomed it. (WTF???)
So tell me… when African governments and activist lawyers start arguing that Britain’s Industrial Revolution caused climate damage, what exactly do ministers think will happen? Remember Chagos?
Every single step is presented as “non-binding” or “just guidance”. But as we’ve seen with our quangos, guidance becomes rules and even court cases.
The estimate is upto £4 TRILLION in climate reparations. Just brilliant!
The UN’s plans have never been hidden and the mechanisms used to implement them are obvious.
You would never vote in favour of this… it’s why they won’t ask you!
More economic insanity … Labour wants to give 30 hours a week free childcare to parents on benefits who are … at home?
In what universe does that make sense? Morally or economically?
Really? Er … Labour wants you to think this is great news and that it will mean “Faster regulation.” “Less red tape.” and more “Innovation.”
Let me tell you what it really means..
remember when folic acid was added to flour without Parliament holding a vote on the policy?
Now imagine that expanded, because what this post is hiding is that the government is creating a new central office to drive regulators to approve new technologies more quickly, (very helpful for large global businesses), relying even more on unelected quangos like the MHRA, Food Standards Agency, Information Commissioner’s Office, Civil Aviation Authority, Ofcom and the Financial Conduct Authority making key decisions.
Things like AI, Gene edited food, Medicines, Novel foods (fake stuff) Drones, embryos and even Autonomous vehicles.
This is NOT about transparency. It’s about moving more decision making away from Parliament and into the hands of regulators you never voted for through statutory instruments.
How’s that democracy feeling?
So whilst the media want us focused on a bloke called Bin face, let me re direct your thinking.
The OBR says Burnham will need another £120 BILLION in tax!
That’s on top of the £120 BILLION they already hammered us for, destroying the economy in the process.
Insane 🤡
I see the Big Pharma fans are now focusing on what is or is not a "safe level" of folic acid in flour.
It's irrelevant. It should not be in flour AT ALL. The small number of people who are folate-deficient to the extent they might give birth to a child with a neural tube defect can, and should, be targeted specifically. We shouldn't be medicating the entire population with uncontrolled levels of pharmaceuticals that THEY DON'T NEED.
Here's what the government says the problem actually is:
"Despite longstanding UK public health advice recommending a daily supplement of 400 micrograms of folic acid before conception and during early pregnancy, uptake remains suboptimal, particularly among younger women and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds"
So they are admitting that their previous policies have failed, but rather than fix them with better targeting policies, they are now medicating the entire population.
It's a bit like the debate over Bovaer in the feed of dairy cattle. The "safe level" argument was irrelevant there, too. It should not be there AT ALL.
Cow burps are not causing global warming!
Folate deficiency in men, children and older women is not causing birth defects in babies!
