The hardest part of trading memecoins isn't finding calls.
It's knowing who to trust.
Put in $10: it does 100x.
Put in $100: rugged.
So I'm building the tool that was missing.
I’ve seen a lot of people posting about @UsePaid, saying this meta was “the dumbest one yet” and that people are stupid for buying a token that pays multimillionaires.
But did everyone suddenly become stupid?
It’s hard for me not to see some of these takes as frustration from people who simply missed the opportunity.
So let’s break down the arguments one by one 🧵
“Paid is just a way to pay multimillionaires. Send the money to people who actually need it.”
Wow. Welcome to capitalism.
Why not create a charity token then?
Oh, right. It probably wouldn’t have the same potential, because a charity account tweeting doesn’t have the reach or impact of someone like Elon Musk.
“The money leaves the ecosystem.”
Do you really think someone who launches a token and hits the jackpot reinvests every single dollar they make?
Of course not.
They buy a Lamborghini. They buy a Rolex. They spend it.
And that’s exactly the same with Paid.
“The meta was better before.”
Which one?
The one where we created a token for every random Solana or Musk post and speculated on absolutely nothing?
Paid created a new game.
It connected Web3 with the real world in a way we hadn’t really seen before.
To me, the interesting part isn’t necessarily how people are using it today.
It’s the technology behind it — and the possibilities it opens up.
You can hate the current meta. You can think people are using it stupidly.
But judging the technology solely because some people are using it in a certain way is missing the bigger picture.
That’s just my take.
Feel free to write yours!
@Deestar Sending tokens to influencers is stupid, but the @UsePaid tech and what some people do with it are something totally different. It’s stupid to judge the protocol based on how some people use it.
solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump hit a high of 52M and has now pulled back to 27M.
But more than the price, I'm more concerned with how much UsePaid has actually delivered during this period.
When I first wrote about solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump:
Cumulative Creator Fees: about $360K
Actual buyback and burn: about $71K
Cumulative burned: 9.1M solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump
Now:
Creator Fees: $4.13M
Buyback and burn: $864.5K
Cumulative burned: 43.48M solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump
Actually paid out to X users via X Money: $1.92M
In other words, in just over ten days:
Protocol fees grew more than 11x
Actual buyback funds grew more than 12x
Burned solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump grew nearly 4.8x
And this is no longer a "will buy back later" kind of tokenomics.
Right now, you can see new Jupiter market buys + SPL Burns almost every hour, with recent single buybacks generally in the $8K-$14K range.
The original thesis has also undergone several key changes:
1. Pons has already brought this model to Robinhood Chain.
Creator Fees generated on different chains still ultimately converge onto the same Solana solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump for buybacks and burns.
This means solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump no longer just captures trading flow from the single https://t.co/uocnOcKatc ecosystem.
2. Axiom has already launched a Paid-exclusive Badge.
For traders, this matters a lot.
From now on, when you see a new coin, you don't have to just trust the project team saying "Creator Fees will go through UsePaid." The trading terminal itself starts providing an identifiable Paid label, and both verification and distribution costs are falling.
3. X Money itself keeps expanding its payment use cases.
X has already migrated payments for U.S. Original Content Rewards and Creator Subscriptions to X Money.
UsePaid isn't an official X project, but it happens to be built on top of the payment infrastructure X is actively pushing forward.
4. solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump's buy pressure is starting to decouple from "who buys solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump."
This is what I value most right now.
Users can be completely unfamiliar with solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump.
As long as they go trade a coin integrated with UsePaid and generate Creator Fees, a portion of that ultimately becomes open-market buying pressure for solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump.
Trading volume → Creator Fees → Buyback → Burn.
The market has now proven this chain can run.
What's truly worth watching next is how big it can run.
Pons is only the first step.
In the official docs, https://t.co/nFI7Y02Ttn / BNB Chain has already entered the explored state. If more Launchpads and Chains get added going forward, it's essentially continuously adding more gateways that can funnel fees into the same solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump buyback pool.
52M is the high the market has given it so far.
But compared to when I first wrote about it, solana:98kfF7rmsg1QDUEoCqNE7g7M1FdrTt92TEp2CLzypump now isn't trading on "whether this mechanism can work."
The mechanism already works.
What's being traded in the next phase is:
How much Token Creator Fee flow UsePaid can ultimately capture.
I always got my eyes on the good stuff 👀
$SONS keeps shipping while most people are staring at the price.
I’m not here for a chart that looks good for 10 minutes. I’m watching the tech, execution and what’s being built.
Two launchpads. One terminal. And the dev still isn’t slowing down.
Keep building. Let Solana CT catch up.
@solana@Pumpfun@LaunchOnSF
solana:3ZW6jfWG3KZPYdtjra5CHuaRkwBDFLDA9YQMZLn3sons now reads two launchpads.
@Pumpfun and @LaunchOnSF — one feed, one terminal, one create page.
Everything below already works.

Idk i still think $SONS might make a comeback sooner than we expect.
I still think this is closer to $PONS on solana but with extra spec.
First socio launchpad on solana that is still sub 100k and has gotten one of their projects bonded already
@9xx_999_xx9 When people realize it, it will be worth millions.
Moreover, they’ve already proven that they can build and deliver when no one was paying attention to them.
These are the kind of signals that matter.
