Litigation is the only area of practice that will never disappoint a lawyer. You can learn on the job with it.

For most other areas, you need a little bit of structure and hands-on practical experience before you can find your feet.

Professional Ethics..I saw it as the business course of law school. less about memorizing laws and sections more about how you actually carry yourself in practice and Being a football fanatic helped too. I practically memorised the RPC by translating the rules into football terms

This is why I like firms that rotate trainee associates across practice groups. Most people are unable to make informed decisions until they become lawyers and taste what they really want.

I've noticed something.

Ask 10 lawyers to recommend the best Bar Finals materials and you'll get 10 different answers.
Some swear by Kelvin.
Others won't use anything except Sarumi or OD

Then there are the Badmus and AGBATA loyalists.

Which would you pick and why?

Back in varsity i thought I'd end up in corporate law/investment banking but life later on had other plans.
