A new world is being birthed. There's no point in trying to fight for keeping the old ways. The only thing we all can do is get in the car and take turns navigating and steering. Without everyone co-operating, we're either going to get lost or crash and burn. 🙄

On this day in history, 16 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto wrote: “Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.”
The trouble with joining an ideological movement is that it reduces intellectual life to a series of incantations designed affirm membership, followed by unending arguments over proper litmus tests and who is in and out. Huge waste of time and minds. Such movements crush thought.
The great lie is that society is divided between rich and poor.
The great truth, as David Friedberg puts it, is makers vs takers.
Makers build, create, and deliver real value: houses, software, art, businesses, and everything that moves civilization forward.
Takers watch, criticize, analyze, and politic. They push the lie that the rich hoard unfairly so the poor must seize it… all while positioning themselves to rule the chaos.
As @friedberg tells his kids: “At the end of the day, if you made something and someone else valued it, you were a maker. That was an amazing achievement. That is a great day.”
Takers thrive on division. Makers drive progress.
Time to choose your side.
When the federal gov spends more money than it takes in, it is forced to borrow, growing the monetary supply, devaluing the buying power of every dollar in your paycheck.
You can easily make the case that giving all this money away is contributing to making you poorer.

“I could go all night and many of my colleagues are upset. They're really mad at Mr. Musk. Hell, I think we ought to give him a medal”
@EndWokeness I don't know how needs to hear this... but this makes absolutely zero logical sense.
A 3rd place candidate receiving more mail in ballots than the 1st place candidate in the same primary.
It's unheard of.
Most Americans know pirates operated in the Caribbean.
Fewer realize the young United States had pirates in the interior.
Not on the ocean.
On the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.
And for a while, some of the busiest roads in America belonged to them. 🧵
