Considering it’s only one piece, you might be waiting for some time… please read the piece or even the one post from today. I, along with colleagues over the last few months, simply wrote a piece that so many fans are wondering about - I never said he is definitely leaving (I was the first to report Villa are intent on keeping him), just laying out the story. If you don’t like it (admittedly I wouldn’t like a key player for my team having lots of interest) then unfollow 👍

@KevHughesie @J_Tanswell Exactly. Jacob wrote a well worked feature story about one of the potentially biggest transfers this summer. Do we want it to happen? No. But I don't think Jacob's piece has suddenly made a lot of the richest clubs suddenly realize there is a great player at Villa called Rogers..

I'm saying Chelsea should be in a much better position than they are, and due to the unfair rules, they have a huge advantage over us.

We want to get there, but the reality is that we aren't there yet imo. If Alonso gets them playing, they are back imo.

I think many of the fans have accepted that he will leave this summer. It's a shame, but that's the corrupt rules for you.

We have Emery that sets us apart as he is the best manager in the league. But other than that, Chelsea should really be ahead

@Alex_Berwick In all honesty. I do really want Rogers to stay, but I wouldn't be too worried if it wasn't for our very average recruitment of late. I honestly don't trust them to replace him, and that we again look for Buendia, Watkins and McGinn to fix everything next season.

@Alex_Berwick We are in a difficult spot, but looking back at most of the transfers we have made over the last 24 months, you can't help but feel the club has brought this on themselves. So many mistakes made. Signing Madjo for 10m,not knowing he can't play for 12 months, is another blunder.

@KevHughesie I thought the same. Issue is that reports coming from OM about an attitude problem. That's not great. He is 19. Way too early to feel like you have made it.

But it's a good shout. Emery would get him going.

@jdickenson1990 @VilladanishDK Considering the 20% sell on the Boro, Villa winning EL, finishing 4th and getting CL, I would be beyond surprised if we didn't see 100m+. If we do, it's because Villa made a deal with Rogers last summer to stay for one more season and leaving for a set fee the following summer.

I'm fine if he goes for 100m+, but at the same time confused by the fee, if Anderson is 115m or whatever.

Also, us still having to sell players is so draining. Hopefully we make less transfer mistakes going forward.

@JoshNorris He did. Just find it hard to believe that Emery would splash 35m of our small transfer budget on an 18 year old with little experience.

Don't get me wrong. I do think he would be an amazing singing, but can we play trust him to play 30+ matches and deliver this next season?🤷‍♂️
