‘The Israel lobby is vast and it runs very deep in Washington D.C. But speaking directly to President Trump, you have Miriam Adelson, you have quite a few other prominent pro-Israel donors in America who made major contributions to President Trump’s campaign.

That gives them a certain degree of access into the White House. By the time we got to the deliberations for this war, the President’s inner circle had been shaved down a good deal.

The photos that were released that night down at Mar-a-Lago that had President Trump, you know Secretary Rubio, Director Ratcliffe of the CIA, and then you know his Department of War team, Hegseth and Caine, and then Susie Wiles. That’s really the small inner circle.

The Israelis are also able to go to all those individual cabinet members because they’ve cultivated long-term relationships with these individuals during their political careers.

A lot of these individuals like Rubio, like Ratcliffe, basically you have AIPAC bragging that they helped get them the jobs that they currently have there.

That gives members of the Israeli government and Israeli donors the ability to go point to point directly to them and say, “Hey, here’s our agenda. Here’s some intelligence we haven’t put through the regular channel” in order to get their stated objective of a regime change war in Iran across the finish line.

You also have an entire ecosystem in the media, people like Mark Levin, Fox News. You have think tanks like the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies that’s constantly putting so-called experts on Fox News, the programs they know the President is consuming.

It creates an ecosystem or an echo chamber, however you want to phrase it, around the President, and that’s basically the story of how we’ve gotten into this war.’

Joe Kent: ‘Trump let Netanyahu MARCH the US to war against Iran, knowing it would be a DEATH SENTENCE for his Presidency.’

‘I pray and I hope that Donald Trump wakes up and he sees that this war [on Iran] that we were led into by a foreign government has caused an absolute economic downturn here in America.

It is politically hurting him. It is going against what he promised on the campaign trail.

And so, from a political standpoint, but also what’s good for Americans here at home, and then in terms of stability in the region, these policies that we have pursued, he knows that they are not good for our country.

He won two elections running as the anti-war president. He knew that quagmires in the Middle East were basically a death sentence politically for leaders.

Yet he let Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israelis march us into this war.

So I think right now the best thing he can do is stop this bellicose rhetoric, declare victory, bring our troops home, and then work quietly and diplomatically using economic carrots and sticks to get us out of this quagmire and get the Strait of Hormuz open back up again.’

I am not and never have been pro Carney. It’s a tongue in cheek joke about the fact the he’s outflanked the conservatives an embarrassingly infinite number of times, and for how much the liberals are treasonous bastards who need to be thrown in prison, they still know what Canadian identity is because they spent the last 60 years destroying it. You have to know what you’re destroying before you try. That’s why they’re able to LARP as true Canadian patriots.

The mainstream right in Canada is so historically ignorant, illiterate, equally Americanized as the liberals, and fundamentally believe every single presupposition of Lester B. Pearson and Pierre Trudeau, the only response is laughter. I don’t think they hate Canada, but they’re adjacent to it, have very little love for it as a distinct historic nation, and they’re ultimately wannabes of purple state American. Not even wannabes of the GOP.

Their obsession with laissez-faire economics, free trade, limited government, liberal democracy, are all expressions of loyalty to an older form of the post WW2 liberal order established by the United States, and to an older version of liberal Canada. In this, they have willingly forfeited historic Canada to the liberals. They cannot be expected to fight for it, which is why Canadian nationalism, and various groups are on the rise.

Briser le tabou médiatique sur la sécession du Québec.

Personne n'ose aborder l'éléphant dans la pièce de cette campagne : l'absence d'effectivité d'un référendum sur l'indépendance du Québec.

Quiconque a étudié un peu le sujet sait que le processus référendaire est un cul-de-sac puisqu'il devra être d'abord validé par Ottawa qui a encadré le processus de sécession d'une province par le Renvoi sur la sécession (1998) et la Loi sur la clarté (2000).

C'est le Parlement à Ottawa qui décide si la question posée et le résultat d'un référendum sur la sécession d'une province sont valides ou pas, permettant ensuite d'entreprendre des négociations qui - si jamais elles débouchent, ce qui n'est pas garanti - devront ensuite entraîner une modification de la constitution canadienne avec l'appui de 7 provinces sur 10 représentant 50% de la population du pays.

Si le PQ était véritablement sérieux dans sa volonté de tenir un référendum sur l'indépendance, il ne parlerait pas « d'espoir et d'optimisme », mais irait voir Ottawa pour s'assurer de la reconnaissance d'un résultat « gagnant » à 50%+1 voix avec une question négociée, comme l'avait fait le SNP écossais.

Mais ce parti n'est pas sérieux. Il ne fait que publier un « Livre bleu » qui détaille le Québec de l'après sécession qui n'arrivera jamais puisqu'elle repose sur un processus qui n'a aucune effectivité.

Pendant deux heures, j’ai expliqué une chose simple : si on veut que les Québécois aient plus d’argent dans leurs poches, qu’ils puissent se faire soigner plus vite et que les jeunes puissent devenir propriétaires, il faut moderniser notre modèle québécois. Pas juste faire des mesurettes.

Et si vous donnez la balance du pouvoir aux conservateurs, je serai le chien de garde des contribuables. Je vais défendre l’argent que vous gagnez durement et empêcher le PQ de nous entraîner dans un coûteux référendum.
