There are 7 background check companies reporting wrong information about you to every employer, landlord, and insurer in America and you've never heard of any of them
You know Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. You've never heard of:
LexisNexis
SageStream
Innovis
ARS (Advanced Resolution Services)
ChexSystems
CoreLogic
NCTUE
These are the shadow bureaus. They collect your data separately from the big 3. Employers use them. Landlords use them. Insurance companies use them. Banks use them to verify disputes against the main bureaus
They have errors too. Different errors. Errors you've never seen because you've never pulled their reports
You're entitled to a free report from EVERY one of them under FCRA Section 612. Here's how to pull all 7:
LexisNexis: (full consumer disclosure)
SageStream: (request consumer file)
Innovis: (free annual report)
ARS: (consumer file request)
ChexSystems: (free annual report)
CoreLogic: (consumer assistance)
NCTUE: (tracks utility and telecom payment data)
Pull all 7. Compare against your actual information. Wrong addresses. Wrong accounts. Wrong employment history. Mixed file data from someone with a similar name
Then dispute every error at every shadow bureau the same way you dispute with the big 3:
"I dispute the following information on my consumer file under FCRA Section 611. Please investigate and correct or delete within 30 days: [list each error]"
Here's why this matters for credit repair:
When you dispute an account with Experian, Experian doesn't actually investigate. They send an electronic verification request to these shadow databases. If LexisNexis says "confirmed," Experian marks it "verified" and your dispute dies
FREEZE the shadow bureaus BEFORE you dispute with the big 3:
Experian
Transunion
Equifax
Now when Experian pings LexisNexis to verify your disputed account, LexisNexis responds "unable to verify." FCRA Section 611: if the bureau can't verify within 30 days, they MUST delete
Without shadow freezes: 40-50% of disputes result in deletion
With shadow freezes: 70-85% of disputes result in deletion
A client disputed 11 items across all 3 bureaus without freezing shadow bureaus first. Result: 4 deleted (36%)
We froze all 5 shadow bureaus. Re-disputed the remaining 7 items. Result: 6 deleted within 30 days (86%). The one survivor was a legitimate recent account with complete documentation
Total items deleted: 10 out of 11. Score went from 512 to 714
the credit bureaus outsource their "investigations" to databases you've never heard of. freeze those databases and the investigation fails. the bureau is required to delete anything it can't verify. you just cut the wire between the bureau and its cheat sheet lmfaooo

23.) Why do you want a remote job?
Best answer:
Remote work allows me to be productive in a focused environment while collaborating effectively using digital tools. I value the flexibility and accountability that come with remote work.
24.) How do you stay productive while working remotely?
Best answer:
I maintain a structured schedule, work from a dedicated workspace, minimise distractions, and use productivity tools to stay organised.
25.) Do you have any questions for us?
Good questions to ask:
☑️What does success look like in this role during the first six months?"
☑️What qualities do your highest performing employees have?"
☑️What are the biggest challenges someone in this position will face?"
☑️What opportunities are available for professional development?"
☑️What are the next steps in the hiring process?
Waiting until you meet 100% of a job post's requirements means you're missing out on great opportunities. Most job descriptions are wish lists, not hard barriers.
Here is how to confidently pitch yourself when you only meet 70%. 🧵👇🏾
2️⃣ Bridge the Gap with Transferable Skills
Don't ignore the qualifications you lack, reframe how your existing strengths cover the difference.
• The Pitch: "While I haven't used [Software X] directly, I have extensive experience with [Software Y], which shares the exact same operational logic. I can adapt to your workflow within days."
1️⃣ Understand How Job Posts Are Written
Most job descriptions represent a company's "dream candidate", an ideal wishlist that rarely exists in a single applicant.
• Companies hire people who can solve their core problem today and adapt quickly tomorrow.
• If you meet 60–70% of the hard requirements, you are already a strong contender.
@Owennfa I get it. It's hard out there. I've been saving for a wk at $1. a day & and finally, after 8 days, I saved up 50k. Still can't buy a home either.
@QuestioNarrativ@ThrillaRilla369 Not every child grows the same or is the same as you. My youngest is 9 years old & is already 5'4 & 90 lbs. 2nd youngest is 10yrs old, 5'5, 115. 3rd was 4'5 & 65lbs at 9. When is the last time you've seen a 45lb 9yr old? That girl was weighing 95% less than girls her age.
