Yesterday I broke my rule ... scrolling on Instagram I saw so many bullies harassing and ganging up on AI creators.. and I ended up spending my day Arguing and fighting. It was a bloody day and I ended up getting my Instagram account suspended. I let my anger become hatred... and my hate consumed me yesterday.

One thing I will say... they all ran, they all blocked me, and none of them had an argument ... all they had was propagated hate in the form of collectivism.

I never wanted to punch so many people in the face in my life..

What a waste of time it was, I could've worked on Sentino 2 instead of arguing with mindless drones...

I'll be writing and making bangers all weekend.

@THEREALESMITTY There's artist that use AI as a tool like Grimfel, that's good. Another really good one is TruVillain. Both of them have music that predates AI.

@luisvillcruz My brother, who was an inspiring rapper years ago, used to complain about the overwhelming number of wannabe artists in the industry, most of whom lacked any talent. I believe he referred to them as “soundcloud rappers” back then.

I went on Instagram this morning for the first time in a while, and that place seems to be a stronghold for the anti-AI brigade.

Almost every post I clicked on involving AI was an AI artist explaining how much they love music, how much they respect the art form, and how much human involvement goes into their process. They were basically pleading their case to people who had already decided that AI artists don’t belong.

And it got me thinking,** Why are we even explaining ourselves to these people?**

Most of them aren’t even making good music.

It actually took me back years, to when I used to complain about how difficult it was to be heard because everybody wanted to be an artist—whether they had the talent or not. The industry was flooded with music, and a lot of it was garbage. And I wasn’t the only artist saying it. I heard plenty of other artists make the same complaint.

Now we’re watching a similar thing happen all over again.

Some artists are pointing at AI as the monster that’s taking away their listeners, opportunities, and chances to be heard. But the truth is, there have always been more artists than opportunities. AI didn’t create that problem.

My advice to AI music artists:

Whether you’re a hybrid AI artist who records your own vocals and plays your own instruments, a songwriter who composes the music and uses AI as an engineering or production tool, or an artist using AI in an entirely different part of your creative process—

Stop pleading your case to people who don’t want to hear it.

Block them. Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep building.

Because I believe something else is going to happen.

Eventually, the major players and gatekeepers in the music industry will fully embrace AI as another tool in the creative process. When that happens, a lot of the people screaming that AI is destroying music today will suddenly discover that AI is actually a “great tool for artists.”

And they’ll use it.

Just like artists who once condemned digital art eventually embraced digital art. Today, digital tools are completely normal parts of the creative process.

Think about it: How many artists once hated or condemned digital art when it first emerged, only to eventually adopt it themselves?

Technology changes. Artists adapt.

History has a funny way of repeating itself.

AI music and AI-assisted art are going to become household tools for creators. Whether someone likes that fact or not doesn’t change where technology is heading.

So don’t waste your energy arguing with people who have already made up their minds.

Master your craft. Learn the technology. Build your catalog. Build your portfolio. Keep creating.

Because when the people who are screaming the loudest against AI eventually decide they need it, they’ll probably walk right through the same door they spent years telling everyone else to stay away from.

And when that happens, we’ll look back and realize we were arguing with a brick wall the whole time.

**Let them spread their hatred.

We have music to make.**
