Last Friday our students visited @Nat_Mem_Arb. Seeing a selection of the over 400 memorials, it was a very poignant and meaningful day. One of our students placed a wreath which was in the same place as the remembrance service the next day! ⚘️❤️

To celebrate Halloween we had a day filled of spooky activities. Reading The Signalman, needle felting pumpkins with @MessySenses, pumpkin volcanoes, biscuit decorating and English and maths Halloween activities! Our students loved it and got throughouly involve🎃

@CHS_Magpie opened for 1 year, +ve impact on children & families where school attendance has been impacted by anxiety & mental health. 1 parent said “Every morning he wanted to go to school. He was up & ready, beaming about his day. I can’t thank you enough. I have my son back!”

Before summer all of our pupils got a little summery gift - a straw, keyring, a personalised post card, a big of ‘sand’ (baking ingredients) of course all presented in a bucket and spade😎🏖️☀️

Last year we supported over 350 students across 4 sites - a 30% increase on the previous year.
We adapted, increased staffing & facilities to meet the challenge.
With summer improvements complete we’re ready for whatever 2023-24 has in store!!

Another successful morning of science and art fun! This time it came in form of plaster of Paris (who knew it got so hot!?) and elephant’s toothpaste (not as huge as expected, but still pretty non the less) 🐘🪥 again massive thank you to Sian, Bob and everyone else involved ❤️
