@IceHippo73@BillSimmons No. That needs to stay. Ref should have discretion on issuing the yellow. In this case it’s an automatic yellow, therefore a red for a second infraction.
@AlexiLalas Then NOTHING is going to change. We’ll keep celebrating making the knockout stage and hope we can win a game there every 4 or 5 WCs. There is zero incentive for these clubs to develop players. Their only incentive is to get more and more players in to get more money.
@ImYouthSoccer Absolutely not wrong. The post you’re referencing is that club is 48% recruited by D1 and you’re saying it the entire GA claiming that. Your facts are wrong there But when an ECNL club makes claims, their facts? I’ve seen posts by ECNL clubs that are 100% not accurate.
@ThePoniExpress I don’t know about that. Even if he objected, does he actually carry any weight in the room to sway the decision. A small market perennial loser? I doubt it.
@mlycan12 What about the schools that want players to graduate high school early to come play with them early, but then they decide they don’t want that player anymore so they have to transfer as a freshman and hope the place they transferred to doesn’t pull the same thing.
@mlycan12 I am absolutely not a fan of this. A freshman commits to a school, and then that coach leaves or decide they don’t want them so then they transfer to a school that does want them and then that Coach gets fired and now they’re out of transfers and they’re stuck not playing.
