@jeff_gluck The Chicago race is a good idea on paper, but expecting a street race to be as successful as Long Beach or Detroit, with too many 90 degree turns is absurd. People blamed the rain last year, but the track layout just doesn’t support true racing, only NASCAR’s “demo derby” racing

@autosport I’m surprised I haven’t seen anybody mention Jimmy Johnson winning his 7th title and tying the record with Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt

@autosport I think the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2023 is up there. NASCAR being introduced to the world (even keeping the window entry with no doors), Ferrari winning for the first time in 50 years, the small Inter Europole team winning in LMP, and the Corvette winning it’s class.

@onlyendurance Hope the 10 is ok after that hit. Overtaking on the outside of the fastest corner on the track is a gamble. I agree that there is no fault to the Cadillac, given he probably didn’t see or expect that move to be made before he could slow down to give him room. Prayers 10 🙏

Very very sad to see the @CorvetteRacing and @jordan10taylor retired from @IMSA Petit Le Mans at @RoadAtlanta. Well… now I gotta find who I’m gonna root for. Maybe @JensonButton?
