@NotSteven01 You'd expect that to be the case but wait until the season starts and watch Flick run him to the ground. Flick hasn't shown ability to do without Pedri's profile.
@Mhoni_Hiyst I share similar sentiments. Not signing Pedri means we'd potentially run him to the ground before we get to the decisive phase of the season. And then we wonder why we can't compete in the UCL.
@fiaz1899 Exactly! Not sure why folks seem to be cool with possibly missing out on his signing. A versatile player that's capable of sufficiently replacing Pedri without noticeable drop in quality and can deputize for Lamine as well. Another season of running Pedri to the ground incoming.
@ReshadRahman@Og_papil0 I guess it's almost over if the player is unwilling to cause chaos to force the move. Guess he doesn't want the move as much, so we are better off looking at alternatives now that there's still time.
@MagicalXavi If the player decides he wants to leave, I don't think Bayern would have a choice. It would only probably cost Madrid more than the โฌ150m.
@WahabStatsHub What makes you think PSG will sell Kvaratskhelia for any price let alone โฌ130m, even if the player was willing to leave? You forget how PSG refused to let Verratti go despite the player wanting out. Chasing Kvara would be a lost cause.
@abosalaharena Haaland's salary will not only disrupt but completely destroy our wage structure. That's not what we want for a club just managing to return to normalcy.
@abosalaharena It's not been confirmed that Ter Stegen would indeed leave (I'm hoping he does). Knowing how he's been insistent on staying in Spain and particularly in Barcelona, let's see how the summer transfer window pans out in his case.
I'll be upfront. Anthony Gordon wasn't my preferred profile. I wanted a high-volume dribbler and scorer, someone who could take some of the creative load off Lamine and Pedri, not add to it.
But the deal is done. So let's look at what Barcelona actually signed.
