BREAKING NEWS | A controversial Durban businessman has been arrested on charges of human trafficking and kidnapping.

The suspect’s name has come up at both the Madlanga Commission and the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee.

The operation was conducted on Tuesday by a team of officers, led by the Hawks in KZN.

They arrived at the man’s plush Umhlanga property with a J50 warrant of arrest.

He reportedly complied without incident, and was detained overnight.
