I’m turning 41, but I don’t feel like celebrating.

Our generation is running out of time to save the free Internet built for us by our fathers.

What was once the promise of the free exchange of information is being turned into the ultimate tool of control.

Once-free countries are introducing dystopian measures such as digital IDs (UK), online age checks (Australia), and mass scanning of private messages (EU).

Germany is persecuting anyone who dares to criticize officials on the Internet. The UK is imprisoning thousands for their tweets. France is criminally investigating tech leaders who defend freedom and privacy.

A dark, dystopian world is approaching fast — while we’re asleep. Our generation risks going down in history as the last one that had freedoms — and allowed them to be taken away.

We’ve been fed a lie.

We’ve been made to believe that the greatest fight of our generation is to destroy everything our forefathers left us: tradition, privacy, sovereignty, the free market, and free speech.

By betraying the legacy of our ancestors, we’ve set ourselves on a path toward self-destruction — moral, intellectual, economic, and ultimately biological.

So no, I’m not going to celebrate today. I’m running out of time. WE are running out of time.

@levelsio I use OpenWebui hosted on my local network. I configured wireguard to split tunnel back to my home network as well so it can be used anywhere. OpenWebui also allows you to expose an API endpoint which I use via a https://t.co/Lc9POF8yhQ vscode plugin.

I wrote this because I started to see myself giving in to instagram more often than I like and needed a reminder that more opportunities are waiting when I get off my ass, get out of my comfort zone and work towards them. Figured it could also benefit others. Trust me when I say you’ll be miles ahead of your competition when you are intentional with your time.

I remember when I wanted to get ahead in life but felt like the hours in the day disappeared. Once I learned to remove social media and quick dopamine hits from my daily habits, life started to change. The hours spent on social media and video games became hours of self improvement. Self improvement became knowledge and skills I am proud to showcase. Showcasing my skills turned into opportunities I thank God for everyday.

If you aren't using AI to build tools which simplify your life, you are missing out.

I had Claude create a python script for syslog-ng which monitors the containers on my server and sends me a telegram message whenever an error occurs.

This took me less than 30 minutes to go from an idea to a fully functioning solution and it costs me nothing to maintain.

This is an archaic and clunky UI design that needs to be fixed. X gets overloaded by requests when deselecting or selecting multiple interests in a row. @X

After months of testing my locally hosted web interface with multiple LLM API providers, I have finally gotten to the point that I am satisfied with the functionality and canceled ChatGPT Plus. $20 a month goes so much further when it is spent on API calls.
