Lots of potential magic out there: “Helion has a clear path to net electricity by 2024, and has a long-term goal of delivering electricity for 1 cent per kilowatt-hour. (!)” https://t.co/vIRiWFgI0p
What crazy stuff will you do when you have power for $0.01/kWh? We should be having dozens of engineering hackathons on this idea. It may be as equally transformative as cheap computing power has been. It is time to build - particularly stuff that uses (almost) free solar power.
There are likely less than 10,000 patients in US hospitals now who were fully vaccinated but sick with covid. Is it really too much to ask what vaccine they received, when vaxxed, their age and co-existing medical conditions?
via @NYTOpinion He nails it: “Achieving the scale of clean energy we need requires not only wind, solar and hydro, but also a carbon tax in every major industrial economy, nuclear power and natural gas as a bridge. If you oppose those, you’re not serious. https://t.co/AA5pwxMRWS
What might a future Greta Thunberg, when she is 47 and Prime Minister of Sweden in 2050, view as enough progress so she “dared to hope” we are doing "close to enough" on #ClimateCrisis? https://t.co/bvjp7fkzZF
Here's my latest at Forbes. Elon Musk and Tesla have a head start because EVs are critical for addressing climate change -- but EVs address only 8% of the overall carbon emissions problem. Plenty of room for others to deliver big, and win big.

@denniskneale My friend, yes, they are unrelated but we do live in the same universe. Remember that this thread was prompted by logic that you retweeted: "Why not prove Republicans wrong and show them they absolutely lost, right?" That's the inspiration for my "Why not?" Be well!
@denniskneale There you go again, Dennis. I don’t believe there’s a case for election fraud that would change the outcome. Every court has agreed. But I’m willing to accept unneeded not warranted audit. Just asking for converse for our president’s financial integrity? Why not?
@denniskneale Oh, Dennis, I think both our bents have been clear for a long time. As I said, my desire for a financial audit has the same logic as your call for an election audit. Alternatively, we can both accept both those issues to be resolved in courts of law.
I'd go for that. 2 conditions: paid for by Trump defense fund if result is not changed and done along with a full transparent audit of Trump finances both before and during term. Same logic. What do you think, @denniskneale?
Doing so would create unifying force behind Biden. I would have to support him. Thwart our doublecheck efforts and we never will accept him as President.
@denniskneale@realDonaldTrump Dennis, I Agree. Undeniable. Wouldn't you agree that he gives as good as he gets, perhaps even more? (You do, too.) We've got a society-wide circular firing squad going on, my friend.
@denniskneale Perhaps the one thing that all sides can agree on is that there's more than enough hate on all sides. Hopefully, it isn't the only thing.
“6 Laws Of Zero Will Shape Our Future. For The Better Or Worse Is Up To Us.” by @ChunkaMui
https://t.co/DwbgCDjnOG a point of view worth reflecting. @ChunkaMui offers intriguing laws and I find that their combinatory power will be much greater and unleash profound shifts.
@peterubel Trump got fewer votes in WI than Mitt Romney 4 yrs before, in the lowest turnout in 20 years, with a margin of victory much less than the lower turnout in just Milwaukee. Will peaceful protests with risks you describe help or hurt turnout? Think it might help.
