Once again (I know it’s not a nice story) but hold the new owner accountable in the same way you would hold a buyer of a stolen car accountable.
Yes, change the law for owners - but change it for buyers as well

@WTVets@drjgreenwood@BBCMorningLive Oliver be like ‘Jeez..these gigs are so easy, I just go, lay down, fall asleep, and everyone loves it. Man...humans are so easy to please’
Always feel like a bit of a failure when I say "I'm just a vet receptionist". Then we try & hire someone new & they last one day or a few weeks before saying it's not for them, it's too busy, too complicated, hours too long. Maybe I'm not too bad at my job! #vetreceptionist
Is your practice prepared for the #lockdown#puppys who may struggle to cope as and when we go back to work?
Or have you already been seeing these cases?

When your 'pandemic puppy' doesn't work out https://t.co/1sAMp5Diqj
A bit of Sunday fun.
You wake up tomorrow and your pets have learned how to talk and are now able to tell everyone your deepest secrets from your personal life. Would you need to bribe them and if so what would they accept as bribery? #animals#secrets
Sometimes I question if the #officedog PeeWee wonders why I always point my phone at him whilst he’s sleeping, must be such a strange concept for his little brain to compute. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps so wanted to share.
Funny story, we taught our #officedog PeeWee to heel. Picked it up within minutes and now out on walks, he’ll just decide to walk to heel to get a treat. Peewee does not understand cause and effect.
@HargreavesRobin Tip of the day. If you get an interview for a job, ask ‘how did you treat your staff during the pandemic’? Their answer will give you a lot of information about how they treat/view their staff.
This counts for all staff in #veterinary practice. One of my favourite sayings is ‘it’s better to say the right thing at the wrong time than it is to say the wrong thing at the right time’. If you handle the situation properly, you clients will not mind waiting.
Here’s a picture of my #flopnotcrop. JRT’s tend not to fall foul of this barbaric practice. Yes I know they don’t flop in the right direction for a Jackie but he’s special and we love him just the same.
How is this still a thing? Shocking that it looks like someone has pictured their perfectly normal looking dog followed by pictures of an atrocious bodge job. #whatiswrongwithpeople? #flopnotcrop
