I used to think SQL was hard. It wasn't.

I was just learning it the wrong way.

Like many beginners, I thought SQL executed exactly as it was written:

SELECT FROM WHERE GROUP BY

Think of it like searching your phone contacts.

You don't scroll endlessly through every contact.

You search by name, filter by a detail, or narrow down the results.
