That man is the great Old Tom Lenihan from Miltown Malbay in West Clare and the video was taken at the Kilrush Fleadh in 1967 – Tom was a famous traditional singer in the 60 and 1970s and was renowned for his songs and stories from the past. That song is about whiskey!
