Hilarious watching the Newcastle bench review the foul on their iPads and immediately jump up and start protesting like it’s not the stonewalliest of stonewall penalties.

[RJ @rjandun123]

@davidlynchlfc Definitely did deserve a draw. Dominated possession and shots. Newcastle were brilliant. But give the Reds credit, they kept going to the end.

Big fan of Tuchel but that was so bad. Giving the best player in the history of the sport all the time in the world to do something with 40 minutes to go will always end badly. Look what Cape Verde did - that’s how you fight fire with fire

@jsaywardjones Proven right by tonight with 11 men

Liverpool Football Club at home acting like a mid table club that has nicked a goal against City. Get him gone.

[Ciaran Jackson @Ciaranj04]

Score a goal then stop doing what’s worked all half and sit back on the 18 yard box watching them pick it up with space on the edge🏼. Negative football at Anfield is a joke.

[Charlie @C1892_LFC]

Why did Salah get such high penalty status his whole career past 2017? You’re honestly lying if you’re 100% confident in him when he steps up for Liverpool. I shit myself every time.

[JayRad @jayrad198900]

@MattPrior13 But Stokes has said time and time again he wants the batters to be aggressive and positive and then he comes out and does the opposite

17’ GOAL! Haase direct from a corner. He puts a lovely bend on the ball and the ‘keeper cant deal with it! 2-0.

[Rio @riobeare]

Keeper looking at the crowd thinking he’d pulled a worldie 😭😭😭😭

In horrible circumstances we are dealing with, to see locals offering their home, travel and food to those who travelled but struggling to get home, shows there’s humanity left in this world.

Thank you those who helped and show we’re not only great fans, but great human beings.

[S @SibiLFC]

The real people of Liverpool showed themselves today I'm seeing people out here prepared to drive hours to help others get home safely never felt more proud being a Liverpool fan

[Ciaran Jackson @Ciaranj04]

@paddyot75484118 Sorry mate only just seen this. Was sorted almost instantly. Appreciate your offer regardless❤️. Hope you’re back safe.

[Ciaran Jackson @Ciaranj04]

Anyone in Liverpool heading back towards Manchester? Me and 2 mates stuck and 1 has a driving test at 11am to be back for. Happy to pay whatever.🙏🔴

Tonight is showing why Liverpool is the best city in the world. Everyone is offering help, food, drink, a place to stay and transport.

Thank you to all the volunteers doing everything they can to help.

The People’s city ❤️

I love this football club, you’ll never walk alone has never meant so much tonight

[The Formby Fonz. @ClintBartonBos]

Anyone else need a lift home that's hasn't been collected yet?

I've just got a 7 seater. If you're in the city centre I'll be 25mins getting to you, but I will get there.

Retweets, please.

A day packed with joy in this wonderful city so quickly turned to one of panic and shock. Thoughts with all those affected. In the most difficult of times, this city always comes together and it’s happened again tonight with people offering shelter and lifts to those stranded.
