It takes literally seconds for me to storyboard a shot, there is absolutely no reason to need AI built on the stolen work of millions of artists to storyboard your vision, have some damn pride and respect your peers
as artists & builders struggling to keep up with new AI capabilities daily (coming from media & entertainment), all of a sudden, it feels like we're all:
- showrunners (setting the creative vision)
- producers (budgeting, tracking, shipping)
- product managers (delegating, supervising)
- marketers (positioning, connecting)
and most of all
- directors (all types: art, creative, film, technical)
it's overwhelming & empowering at the same time - hard to know where to focus sometimes...
imho, knowing where to aim your focus to leverage your unique skills, to redefine yourself beyond your pre-AI job title, is one of the most valuable things we can all be exploring right now.
tl;dr
- be curious
- labels are for jars
- big picture + focus = superpowers!
redefining daily, hbu?
Polish 26 year old guitar master Marcin Patrzałek respond to those who have made public comments claiming that his music is fake.
He made this video in a tutorial form showing how he manages to play so extraordinarily well in response. And yes, it's all played on one guitar.
ai isn’t doing anything artists themselves aren’t capable of achieving now. It’s expediting the process and removing the artists themselves from it. much of what goes on in one’s process to create is a learning experience not only about the craft but themselves also. what a shame
