"Working in the game industry is like a dream come true."
David Bosc (@BavidDosc) tells @DrewStremick how it feels to be working at @UbisoftWinnipeg as a generalist programmer, and how he's giving Manitoba students a helping hand when it comes to achieving their own.
@akohan because the actions of those drivers is not something within his control, which would mean his parental actions 100% are. why are you smoothbraining the conversation away from personal responsibility or accountability? choice of emphasis?
many wrongs dont make a right. i get it youre frustrated about drivers but you hit record before crossing the street im assuming because you were aware that someone would stop in the crosswalk and then STILL let your kid sprint into the street AND didnt warn your kid.
@ianwalkerwpg my point exactly, admitting you were well aware of the dangers and not attempting to prevent anything is wild, its all good tho man accountability is hard. as soon as you accept your teachings being potentially dangerous, will you then and only then become a better teacher.
@akohan my quote tweet is pointing out that two things can be wrong at the same time. taking accountability is a very important thing to teach your child and this could be a v important lesson in surroundings awareness. he cant control the drivers, best to focus on what is controllable
@akohan i dont think anyone is in these comments defending these bad drivers? not that ive seen anyways, i think the consensus of all the intelligent adults is having discipline to restrain your child on a public street is much more important in teaching your child how to come home safe
