This is why I’ve always said women in the aid station and men out on the line.
And it’s nothing against them, most female medics run circles around the men from a skill standpoint and thrive in a clinic setting, they just can’t keep up on the line.
I'm 6"4' and 225 lbs.
In full combat kit I weigh well over 300lbs. I don't expect most women also wearing full kit to be able to drag me out if I was wounded in a fire fight.
In AIT I was partnered with a girl who was maybe 100lbs soaking wet and she could not even move me an inch. And yet both of us are combat medics expected to be able to save the lives of our soldiers...
