@mufcgrc@pauldehnerjr My understanding is that he went unclaimed in the waiver process which means anyone can ask him to be on their practice squad. I would assume the Bengals asked but so did the Vikings and they likely offered him more money.
@stonesshows@Trags It’s normal for teams to ask a player before they restructure their contract. Also you’re right that it doesn’t change the amount of money Burrow gets, restructuring doesn’t do that in any situation, but it does provide cap relief.
@sonicjessie@JackFritzWIP Yeah I saw that. I have reservations about the automated ump system next year but situations like that make it seem like a great idea that can’t come fast enough. I mean this time it helped the Reds but I’ve seen it hurt them too.
@sonicjessie@JackFritzWIP You’re good, I probably shouldn’t be so sensitive, everyone talks crap to each other when it comes to sports. But yes that’s something we can agree on, we both want the Reds to leapfrog the Mets in the Wild Card standings. Regardless I hope you have a good night!
@sonicjessie@JackFritzWIP Very much disagree that no one in Cincy cares about baseball and also it’s not a toilet bowl. Btw, it’s possible to support your team and city without tearing down the other team and city. For example, I’m a Reds fan from Cincy but I like the Phillies and Philadelphia a lot
