Days after a worker died on the set of #LoveAndWar, All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has now written to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to register FIR against the acclaimed filmmaker.

AICWA President Suresh Gupta also questioned the lack of clarity surrounding the circumstances of the death of the worker.

He alleged that the worker died after a portion of the set structure or roof collapsed. He further claimed that a few other workers were injured in the incident.

The association has also demanded compensation of Rs 1 crore for the family. It has urged the Maharashtra govt to stop all shooting activities at the location until a comprehensive safety audit is conducted and mandatory safety norms are certified by the competent authorities.

As I CLEARLY said, there is NOTHING wrong in commissioning articles to promote a movie. This has become a NORM which even the smallest movies follow.

I just said, @aliaa08's "close" fans shouldn't allude that her fellow actors are using their PR to sabotage #Alpha. Because neither @deepikapadukone nor #ShraddhaKapoor are doing NOTHING dirty against #AliaBhatt and her movies.

And it's a UNANIMOUS opinion of the TRADE that the response to #AlphaTeaser is MEDIOCRE. And @yrf is responsible for this mess. Not Alia Bhatt.

#HauntedEchoesFromThePast sprang a BIG surprise by outstripping all the bigger opponents on Day 1. This #VikramBhatt film racked up Rs 2.5 crore net despite LIMITED screenings. Shows are getting increased now. The success of this movie again underlines the potential of the HORROR genre.

#MainVaapasAaunga and #Governor are being appreciated by the class audiences. But the collections so far aren't commensurate with the merits of these movies. The former netted Rs 1 crore (approx) on the opening day, while the latter eked out Rs 80 lakhs.

#BharatBhhagyaViddhata is a DISASTER. This @KanganaTeam movie will entail HEAVY LOSSES despite a stellar performance from Kangana. It's the WEAKEST among all the releases of the week both critically and commercially.
