Episode 21- THE WIZARD (1989)
We've been away for a while, but we're back with our first full ep of 2023. In anticipation for #TheSuperMarioBrosMovie we're looking at Nintendo's previous cinematic failures! Put on your Power Gloves and Press Start!
This was a fun conversation and was delighted they used our @smbmovie site as reference and had me on in an interview segment to add the extra context!
EP 22: Super Mario Bros. (1993)

MARKET RESEARCH- MARCH 2023
The three of us are back for another month of Market Research. Marvel and DC continue to crumble at the seams by releasing two of the worst superhero movies of all time, new trailers for Barbie, Ninja Turtles, and an Oscars that wasn't terrible?
There’s a phone number in the #SpiderManAcrossTheSpiderVerse trailer, and if you text it, they invite you to join the Spider Society. So yeah, of course I joined.
Ebert on The Wizard: "But here the problem is that the movie doesn't have much Nintendo in it, and some of that is wrong (when it's announced, for example, that the third level of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been reached, the movie screen clearly shows the first level)."
Ah man we forgot to tweet a thank you to everyone who helped with our big movie episodes!
Thanks to @TheBrandonHardy, @CinemarketPod and @ofcthismeanspod for taking time out of your schedules to talk to us about these Looney movies.
We really appreciate it!
Happy #Oscar2023 Day! Enjoy our montage of Best Picture nominees for this year, done in the style of the Paramount “Happy Days” Promo. If you know, you know!
Sorry for the lack of episodes lately, life’s been pretty crazy for us over here, but we should have things coming soon. Give us a view over on YouTube and share around! https://t.co/l1cV7Ob58m
MARKET RESEARCH- FEB 2023
As Anthony recovers from Covid, Mike and Louis continue to lose more faith in the film industry with The Flash trailer, the announcement of Toy Story 5, the disappointments of Ant-Man and Cocaine Bear, but maybe the SAG Awards might give us some hope
