Today would have been Daniel’s first day at Apple. So proud of all you accomplished in your life and for getting your dream job. I’m so sad we don’t get to see you grow in this new chapter you were so looking forward to. I love you.
I am so sad. I still can’t believe it. RIP Daniel Williams. I’ll miss you so much. Even tho the chance of me meeting you was already basically nonexistent, I always knew I could count on a response to a dm or comment. You always treated fans so kindly. Love you forever Dan.
I'm not good with things like this, but I'll try my best:
It was an honour to have known Daniel Williams (@xcadaverx), who has sadly passed away.
The amount of shock going through the @doodles community shows how much of a positive impact he had on many people, and that he'll never be forgotten.
He recently shared some of his old music days with a bunch of us, as the former drummer for the band 'The Devil Wears Prada' (@TDWPband). For those that didn't know about that side of his life, maybe my re-sharing this passion of his will help a little today:
"Couple videos of me playing at warped tour:

"I started the band in 2005 and left in 2016 to go into software engineering. My favorite albums were these two:

but the most popular is probably this one:

He passed away in a plane crash and there's a few stories in the media - here's one that doesn't contain any images of the scene:

I don’t know what I’m supposed to say. Dan made the band that gave me my whole life. Dave was my mentor, my friend, the best person I’ve ever met. Hurts. Bad. I love you boys ♥️
It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to lose not just one, but two friends who completely changed my life. Dan and Dave gave me so many unforgettable experiences.
They were incredible people and even better friends.
@ask_aubry The father hurt his relationship with his daughter. Maybe those weren’t his intentions but then it’s up to him to sit down and talk to her and apologize for hurting her and ask what he can do to make it right. Her mom did nothing wrong she shouldn’t have to get involved.
